Lucy Letby, 33, is accused of killing seven babies between 2015 and 2016. The nurse is a nurse in the neonatal department of the Countess of Chester Hospital.
On Friday, the prosecutor retracted a note she had written in 2016, when she was informed of the suspicions against her. "I don't deserve to live. I killed them on purpose because I'm not good enough to take care of them. I'm a horrible bad person," she wrote in the note.
