Russia's T-72 main battle tank with the peculiar special armor has apparently already been destroyed. The turtle shell is said to have been parked by Russian troops in a shed near the small town of Krasnohorivka.

Using the recordings, the Ukrainian secret services managed to determine the tank's position - and destroy it with a precision strike using their own artillery. It remains to be seen whether the new turtle shell can do anything against the tireless Ukrainian drone attacks. In the fight against effective and extremely cheap unmanned flying objects, the Kremlin is trying to gain the upper hand through innovation - but so far with little success.. Putin's tanks suffer from Ukrainian drones. A bizarre construction is now supposed to provide a remedy. However, how effective the device is remains questionable. Because the strategy in itself is not new. Since the beginning of hostilities in the Ukraine war, the Russians have been building metal cages around their tanks in the hope of warding off missiles. And the effectiveness of the improvised devices is zero.
