Mishka, a small dog from the terrier family, disappeared without a trace from her family home last July in San Diego, near the Mexican border. She was found a few days ago in Harper Woods in the suburbs of Detroit, on the Canadian border, after crossing the United States diagonally for nearly 4,000 km.

A local animal shelter was able to identify her using her microchip and contacted her owners, who immediately came to collect her. “It’s a story that Hollywood would dream of telling,” said the shelter on Facebook.
