Florida's 'anti-woke' law rejected by an American Court of Appeal. Deemed unconstitutional, the law defended by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was even described as a “sin against the First Amendment” The aim of the law was to regulate teaching in educational establishments as well as training in the workplace.

The bill was approved in March 2022 by the Florida House of Representatives, with a Republican majority. The First Amendment provides that “Congress shall make no law (...) to limit the freedom of expression (...)”
