US President Joe Biden, seeking a second term, was interrupted several times on Tuesday by demonstrators shouting their solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. The 81-year-old Democrat stopped speaking several times while his supporters in the audience chanted “Four more years! » or “Come on Joe!” » in order to drown out the voices of the demonstrators.
This is not the first time the president has faced interruptions during a speech. In early January, activists also interrupted a speech given by the president in Charleston, South Carolina.
