Attention to security at upcoming sporting events in Rome is extremely high, Prefect Lamberto Giannini told an event on fighting cyber crime in the capital Monday. "On all events there is a great deal of attention," he said on the sidelines of the conference.

"Every event is studied and analyzed and services are set up to manage it safely," he added. "There are spectator-by-spectator monitoring services. Alsobecause I remember that in November 2015, which remained famousfor the Bataclan events, there was an attempted attack on theStade de France," he told the event at the Lumsa University. "So certainly there is attention," the Prefect said, adding that security services are working hard to ensure the safety of sporting events and other public events in the Italian capital. The conference was held at the University of Rome and was organized by the cybercrime prevention group Cybercrime and Cyberterrorism (Cybercrime Prevention and Prevention) (CPCP)
