14 teachers from eastern Val-d'Oise decided to occupy a room in the Versailles rectorate since Monday morning. “We have the strength of conviction, we know why we are here, for our students,” declare the demonstrators.
The movement began on February 26 at the Simone-de-Beauvoir high school in Garges-lès-Gonesse. The teachers are demanding more resources for schools and are supported by a large number of their colleagues.
