A 25-year-old firearms enthusiast illegally resold hundreds of rounds of ammunition via the social network Telegram. The suspect from Périgny went further by manufacturing parts of handguns himself using his 3D printer.

He was sentenced to “150 hours of community service, six months of imprisonment in the event of non-compliance’ and was “banned from holding or carrying a weapon for five years’. “That’s so much ammunition intended for criminals which finds itself withdrawn from the black market,” says a source close to the case.
