The Successor, subtitled My memories of Benedict XVI, with a photo of Francis on the cover, is currently only available in Spanish (Éditions Planeta) It is the result of several interviews with the Spanish journalist Javier Martinez-Brocal. The relative haste with which this new work on Benedict XVI is coming out, without waiting for the Italian edition, corresponds to the desire for it to be released in Italy.
The second book by François, 87 years old, released in less than a month. The previous one, Living, was an autobiography written with the Italian television journalist Fabio Marchetto.
