The Assize Court of Paris sentenced Friday, June 9 to 30 years in prison with a two-thirds safety period. Hanine Benbouabdellah, alias "Poub" or "Poup", a kingpin of the Banana district in eastern Paris, tried for the murder of the sister of the leader of a rival gang.
The verdict, in accordance with the requisitions of the Attorney General's Office, was greeted with applause and shouts of joy by the victim's family.
