Several explosions rocked a military munitions warehouse in Indonesia on the outskirts of the capital Jakarta. More than 130 families were evacuated.

So far, no casualties have been reported. The first explosion was heard around 6 p.m. in a depot located inside a military complex used to store expired ammunition. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway. The army says the explosions were due to expired ammunition, which was recalled and for which we also issued a withdrawal letter early last year. But as the withdrawal process is still ongoing, we have collected and verified them, the army says.
