Around fifteen processions of parents and teachers are demanding an emergency plan to resolve the serious difficulties facing schools in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis. In addition to the national demands against the “clash of knowledge” reform, the department's unions are demanding the creation of 5,000 teaching positions and just over 3,000 school life jobs.

“People should be treated the same. We are in national education,” says Muriel, another mother committed to improving the educational conditions of her children.
