[HIGHLIGHTS] Visiting a restaurant is becoming a burden: Generation Z is increasingly suffering from “menu anxiety”

Survey: Gen Z and Millennials suffer from'menu anxiety' 41 percent of Gen Z respondents said they were afraid when ordering food in a restaurant. In comparison, the figure for boomers (those born between the mid-1950s and the late 1960s) was only 15 percent.

86 percent of those surveyed between the ages of 18 and 24 suffer from “menu fear”. 34 percent ofGen Z respondents are so anxious that someone else at the table has to tell the waiter their order.
