[HIGHLIGHTS] Vosges: a boar's head discovered in front of a mosque

An investigation was opened after the discovery of a boar's head near a mosque in Contrexéville (Vosges) The head was discovered Friday by worshipers at the Attawba mosque, north of the town. An investigation has been opened, the Epinal public prosecutor told AFP.

The animal's head was found in the middle of Ramadan, the month of fasting, prayers and sharing for Muslims which began on March 11. The investigation is ongoing, the public prosecutor said.
