The mayor of Rambervillers (Vosges) was sentenced Thursday February 8 to six months in prison and was declared ineligible for two years. The penalty of ineligibility, pronounced with provisional execution, applies from Thursday and will apply even in the event of an appeal by Jean-Pierre Michel.

The 64-year-old elected mayor, elected mayor of this town of 5,000 inhabitants in 2014, and re-elected in 2020, was targeted by complaints from nine people employed by the town.
