Wanted by Interpol, a French drug trafficker arrested in Venezuela. Sentenced to 18 years in prison in France, Gilles Tepie, "Interpol red notice for international drug trafficking", was captured by the Venezuelan army.

He was one of the central figures in drug trafficking dismantled in 2010 during the seizure in Neuilly-sur-Seine of 111 kg of cocaine, imported from Venezuela. A Venezuelan accomplice was also arrested. It is currently unclear why he was at large again.
