The US and the United Kingdom jointly attacked up to 36 targets linked to the Houthis in Yemen this Saturday. This is the third time that both countries have coordinated to attack the Houthi militia in Yemen, backed by Iran.

On Friday night, the US launched airstrikes against targets in Iraq and Syria linked to Iran in retaliation for a drone attack on a US base in Jordan. The Syrian and Iraqi governments have condemned the US bombings, which have killed at least 18 and 16 people in each country, and have warned of an escalation of the conflict.
