Russian drones and missiles targeted power plants in east-central Ukraine overnight from Thursday to Friday, the Ukrainian Energy Minister announced on Friday. NATO member Poland said on Sunday that a Russian cruise missile fired towards towns in western Ukraine had penetrated Polish airspace for 39 seconds.
In Romania, another NATO member country, drone fragments have already been discovered in 2023 after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the intensive bombing of its port infrastructure on the Danube. The Romanian authorities have clarified that they do not believe that their country is intentionally targeted.
