Russia claims to have repelled an attack by ten Ukrainian missiles targeting the city of Sevastopol in Crimea. SCALP and Storm Shadow missiles were reportedly used in this attack.
A child and a woman were injured by debris from the downed missiles which also damaged several residential buildings. Crimea is regularly targeted by the Ukrainian army using missiles and drones because it is important for the logistics of the Russian forces occupying southern Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday evening that it had shot down 19 Ukrainian Vampir rockets over the Belgorod region.
