Fighting in the Zaporizhia region in the south, not far from Ukraine's largest nuclear power plant, has intensified in recent days. Russian forces reportedly struck eight populated areas in the region “357 times” in the past 24 hours.
Russia claimed on Sunday that a Ukrainian drone had attacked the territory of the power plant it has occupied for two years. IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said of the attack: "I call for refraining from any action that...would endanger nuclear security"
