A textile warehouse in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis) was partially destroyed by a major fire Tuesday noon. The site corresponds to the headquarters and main warehouse of Rafco Valège — a brand of underwear and lingerie.
The fire was completely brought under control by firefighters around 18 p.m. The day before, a plume of black smoke was visible for miles around. An employee close to the site was concerned about the potential presence of asbestos in the roof of the building.
