Temperatures have risen above 20°C several times this week, reaching 27°C on Thursday. This first half of February is the hottest recorded in France according to the national thermal indicator.

The average temperature measured in France from February 1 to 15 is 9.69°C, beating 2002 (9.5°C) and 2020 ( 9.43°C). “It’s a situation for the month of May, or even June,” notes meteorologist Patrick Marlière, of Média Weather.
