Friday and Saturday will in any case be the two hottest days of the week with a peak expected for the first day of the weekend. On Friday, with temperatures ranging from 18°C in Finistère to 23°C, the levels will be those of late May or early June.

In Normandy, it will even be mid-summer levels and therefore July. On Saturday, the thermometer will rise a few more notches. In the north of the country, it could reach 25°C or 26°C. Such a level is particularly expected in Seine-Maritime, inland, in the Rouen sector. The weather channel is counting on the fact that the 30°C mark would be tickled, as well as in Gironde. From Sunday, the mercury should begin to drop, sometimes significantly, in several regions in the northern part of France, including Île-de-France. This drop will be the prelude to a change in weather which should be widespread at the start of next week.
