Bavaria can prepare for summery temperatures for the weekend (April 13th and 14th). However, the big drop in temperature follows immediately.
Bavaria is currently experiencing a roller coaster ride when it comes to temperatures. After the record-breaking weekend of April 6th and 7th, when temperatures exceeded 30 degrees in parts of Bavaria, the temperature dropped rapidly. Now the next weekend is just around the corner and the Free State can look forward to some warm days again. According to the German Weather Service, this record mark from last weekend will probably not be broken, but it will still be summery - until the temperature drops again at the beginning of next week. The weather on Friday (April 12th) ends the week with mostly lots of sunshine and rising temperatures. The maximum temperatures continue to climb and rise to 21 to 26 degrees. On Monday (April 15th) it is often very cloudy, with showers or heavy rain occurring in many places. It could also rain heavier in the Alps, as forecast by the DWD.
