Wedding Tourism, boom in weddings celebrated in Italy in 2023. The Destination Wedding sector closed 2023 with a turnover growing by 34% and 830 million euros.
The forecasts for 2024 are optimistic: the estimated increase is 8.8%, i.e. 1,200 more events than last year. Villas were preferred by 26.1%, followed by historic residences (13.3%), farmhouses and castles. Almost half of the weddings were organized by a wedding planner.
