The European Commission has just revealed the design of the new €2 coins. These coins have the same technical characteristics as the previous ones but their national side includes a highly symbolic commemorative design on the national or European level.
Belgium inaugurates its new coin on the occasion of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2024. Spain is not left out with the arrival of two coins. One highlights the 200 years of the creation of the national police as a state security force. The second commemorates the recognition of Seville as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
