Tini Stoessel released her fifth studio album, Un mechón de pelo, on April 11. The singer wrote about the criticism she receives and how it affects her mental health.

She also wrote about her relationship with her family, her friends, and her ex-partner. In less than 28 minutes, Tini was able to show that she is much more than the criticism of people who don't know her, writes Ruben Navarrette. "Without fear of change, in this album Tini explored new genres and experimented with innovative resources," he says. "The listener manages to follow the common thread of what the artist wanted to express," he adds. "I'm sorry to burst your balloon, but I don't take drugs," she says in Ni de ti, which is made more poignant by the voiceover of her grandmother, who advises her not to listen to what others say about her. "Something that I usually say about someone who is usually exposed, is not something that I say about Tini, or anyone else," he writes.
