WhatsApp will allow users to edit a message they have already sent. Users will have to press and hold on the message in question to see a feature "edit" The feature will be available within 15 minutes of sending the message.
It will take over an option set up by Apple for its messaging application Imessage and by Twitter, where followers can edit their posts up to 30 minutes after they go live. The new feature is being rolled out worldwide and "will be available to everyone in the coming weeks," WhatsApp says.
