When China lights up. Lantern Festivals, events deeply rooted in traditional culture, add a touch of magic to Lunar New Year celebrations.

In 2008, the Zigong Lantern Festival was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in recognition of its long history, majesty, innovative design and ingenious use of materials. To date, similar festivals are held in nearly 500 Chinese cities as well as more than more than 80 countries and regions. As part of the Dragons and Lanterns Festival, 60 installations on the theme of the dragon, animal and mythological characters will be on display in Paris until February 25, 2024.
