Argentina is expensive in dollars, but the Government is giving strong signals that it will avoid a devaluation. Today inflation is running, the interest rate is rising and the dollar is crawling.

The official wholesale dollar at $858 ended March having risen 1.66% while the inflation estimated by EcoGo would be 13.1%. President Javier Milei retorted this week that the official dollar will continue to increase at a rate of 2% monthly. The challenge is for traditional fixed-term deposits after the rate reduction.
