Brest claims “the largest Lego in the world” in the Guinness World Records. The 21 meter long fresco traces the history of the Notre-Dame-de-Rumengol, an emblematic ship which is seeking funding for its restoration.

“Between 20 and 25,000 people” went to the site to observe the progress of the fresco. The event took place at the Ateliers des Capucins, former industrial workshops of the Brest arsenal which belonged to the French Navy.
