Woman sues New York Mayor Eric Adams over alleged 1993 sexual assault. The former civilian employee of the Transit Office stated that she turned to Adams, who was then an official of that agency and leader of a fraternal organization, to help her advance in her career.

Adams denied the allegations. “While we review the complaint, the mayor totally denies these scandalous accusations and the facts described herein,” Sylvia O. Hinds-Radix, attorney for the city corporation, said.
