Work of art now in the Werksviertel: half the bridge is back. Half of the wooden bridge from the Japanese studio Bow Wow did not reach the other bank and suddenly broke off halfway up.
The temporary installation was still partially accessible and offered wonderful views and overviews of the Isar. The work of art is a reminder to complete the missing connection across the Ostbahnhof tracks. “This place is really crying out for a bridge,” says architect Hannes Rössler.
