Work-study studies combine many advantages for students: paid training, very good professional integration, a double-filled CV. Remuneration for apprentices is defined according to the age and experience of the students and the type of contract signed with the company.
As of January 1, 2024, the gross hourly minimum wage is 11.65 euros gross, or 1,747.20 euros gross monthly. But apprentices' salaries remain exempt from payroll taxes up to a salary below 80% of the minimum wage.
