Véronique and Laurent Blond, aged 56 and 57, disappeared while hiking and did not return to their hotel. It was their daughter, who went on vacation with them, who alerted the authorities.
“It’s unfortunate because they are adorable, and not ‘hotheads’” says a resident of the town. ‘We all hope to see their smiles and their joy of living again,’ says another. A significant mobilization has been put in place by the local authorities to find travelers.
