WWF Oasis Days are back, from 25 April to 26 May, with 110 events and extraordinary openings in five weekends. Oasis scattered throughout Italy among woods, lakes, wild coasts, flowering prairies, rivers, valleys and mountains.

From historic Burano in Tuscany, the first, founded in 1967, to the Saline di Trapani, where conservation and production with traditional salt methods coexist, from the woods of Valtrigona in Trentino to the Marine Protected Area of Miramare in Trieste, all places of defense and promotion of value nature in which to discover the history of symbolic species such as the otter, Sardinian deer, Marsican brown bear, saved thanks to the WWF over 50 years ago, says the environmental association. The WWF, during the Oasis month, will launch an extraordinary fundraiser to protect the population of a symbolic and unique species in the world, the Marsican Brown Bear, of which just 50-60 individuals remain in Italy.
