Yemen: Houthis report first civilian death in US-British strikes. American-British bombings this weekend in Yemen left one civilian dead and eight injured, the Houthi rebels' press agency announced on Sunday evening.

The United States and the United Kingdom said on Saturday they had targeted 18 Houthi targets in eight separate sites in Yemen. The Houthis, who control large swaths of the territory, have been attacking ships off the coast of Yemen since November. Washington, Israel's first ally, set up a multinational coalition in December to “protect” maritime traffic in these strategic waters.
