Munich carillon is subject to tonal fluctuations due to construction and weather conditions. Adjustments would therefore be made repeatedly.

An acoustics company is currently working on the fine-tuning. Until it is completed, the chimes will be played via sound recording. The recording, in turn, reproduces the true-to-original sound of the glockenspiel after the sound optimization in 2007. Back in 2009, experts had already complained about discordant tones to our reaction.
