Vincenzo Franchina had been a father for only three months, Pavel leaves behind two twin sons who were almost teenagers, Mario was an experienced consultant, grandfather of five grandchildren. These are the three confirmed deaths from the Suviana massacre, hit directly by the submerged explosion of the Bargi hydroelectric power plant.
All were technicians from a company external to Enel Green Power which owned the plant and came from outside the region. Transfer workers, as well as the other four missing workers - including a master of work awarded by the Quirinale - for whose search the firefighters are engaged in very complex operations in the underground floors of the plant, at least 30-40 meters below the water level. Three bodies have been recovered so far. The four workers who are still missing are between 37 and 68 years old. The family and the whole country are destroyed, says the mayor of Sinagra, Antonino Musca, who married Vincenzzo and Enza last January.
