The creation of a database of spare parts from washing machines, dishwashers and ovens and the gradual replacement of the plastic material used in easily wearable electronic components. These are the two ideas proposed by young designers awarded by "Ecodesign the Future:ee edition", the workshop created by EconomiaCircolare.com and Erion weee.

The training course, which began on 13 November 2023 and sponsored by Isia Roma Design - University Institute of Italian Design - and Adi - Association for Industrial Design - saw the involvement of 22 boys and girls from institutes and universities throughout Italy. "Having created this advanced training course once again demonstrates the Consortium's commitment to promoting a more circular approach, providing young professionals with the right tools" states Giorgio Arienti, director General of Erion WEEE. "This is why it was very difficult to choose between the 10 projects created by the participants: among these we favored the two that best responded to the need to design products and services in a manner consistent with the themes of circularity"
