Dani Alves was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for sexually assaulting a young woman in Barcelona. The Brazilian appeared in court in Barcelona today (Thursday) amid reports that he organized a birthday party for his father on Tuesday night, and celebrated until 5 am.
Alves must appear in court every Friday, but due to a holiday this week in Catalonia, his arrival was brought forward in this case. The political prosecutor in Spain continues to warn the authorities that the danger of Alves escaping to Brazil has increased.
