Karolina Muchova will play Iga Swiatek in the final of the French Open. The 26-year-old Czech defeated world number 2 Aryna Sabalenka in three sets.
Muchova is the 12th non-seeded player to reach a Grand Slam final in 93 editions. In five confrontations against players ranked in the top 3, Muchova has not lost. The final will take place on Sunday at the Roland-Garros stadium in Paris. The winner will face either Maria Sharapova or Angelique Kerber.
