Álvaro González de Galdeano was a professional runner for 21 years. He won a stage of the Giro and another of the Vuelta and competed in the Barcelona 92 Olympics.

The middle-aged man now drives a taxi but gave 21 years of his life to cycling. “I never imagined that at the end of the road there would be a taxi,” he says. ‘I don't want to spend 200 days away from home, away from my family,’ he argues.
