Clerisse Crémer and her companion, Tanguy Le Turquais, are suspected of having cheated during the last Vendée Globe. In an anonymous email received by the French Sailing Federation, a participant was accused of having benefited from weather information during the competition.
“I never cheated, I never had any desire to break a rule during this 87-day world tour,” she writes on her Facebook account. If they were found guilty by the FFV, the two skippers could be sanctioned.
