Benedikt Doll will hang up his skis after the current season and end his career. The German former world champion does not want to work in biathlon after his active career, but instead wants to take a different direction.
Doll made her World Cup debut in 2012 at the age of 21 and then shaped an era in German biathlon together with greats like Arnd Peiffer, Erik Lesser and Simon Schempp. In addition to the 2017 World Championship title in the sprint, the highlights of his career were the Olympic bronze medals in Pyeongchang 2018.
