Nine Stade Brestois supporters were slightly injured in a road accident this Monday morning in Loire-Atlantique. Five were transferred to Nantes hospital, the other four having been hospitalized in Ancenis.

This season, Brest supporters had already experienced complicated travel returns. At the end of November, a bus was stoned after the match against Montpellier before the scenario was repeated in January. Two fan buses were targeted and many windows were broken after Brest's match against PSG at the Parc des Princes. Two drivers were tested and the results came back negative. The national supporters association has also provided their support to the Brest fans. The Breton club has also supported its supporters in a press release, indicating that one of them was still hospitalized “to treat significant injuries” this Monday noon. The club would like to provide its full support and wishes them a speedy recovery,” writes the Breton side. The accident occurred around 7 a.m., France Bleu Loire Océan says.
