SV Anzing are relegated to the Landesliga after a 26:27 defeat in the Bayernliga playdowns against Bad Neustadt. After four years in the fourth-highest class, the Anzingers will have to compete again in the state league next season.
The Lions had won twelve games in a row and thus had the best chance of pulling their heads out of the noose in the playdowns. After the last game on Saturday, it is clear that SVA will finish the season in third place in the table.
