French Football Federation to meet with Ligue 1 clubs next week to discuss refereeing crisis. FFF president Philippe Diallo wants to defuse tensions between refereeing leaders and professional clubs.

The 17 L1 clubs want to have a say with the 17 million euros they pay into the arbitration budget. Diallo expressed his confidence in Antony Gautier, the boss of French referees, whose 17 clubs had requested the departure in an open letter on March 22. The Racing Club de Strasbourg is the only one absent, chaired by Marc Keller.
