Charles Caudrelier won the first edition of the Arkéa Ultim Challenge. He is the first sailor to have circumnavigated the globe at the helm of an Ultim.
Edmond de Rothschild is the only boat under construction in the Ultim class. The next edition will take place on November 10, with 40 skippers expected to take to the water. The Vendée Globe, a benchmark single-handed world tour, will rely on around forty skippers at the start of next edition.
