Qatar defeats Jordan (1-3) in the final of the Asian Cup of Nations. Akram Afif scores a hat-trick of penalties to give the Qataris the win.

The Jordanians had dominated the match, but were unable to complete their adventure. The Qataris have now won the tournament twice in a row, the second time at home, after winning in the UAE in 2013. The match was played in front of 80,000 fans at the Lusail stadium in Dubai.
